Upstate New York has vibrant cities and communities with rich history and diverse populations. Cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Binghamton are home to universities,  growing industries, and people from all walks of life. From urban centers to smaller towns, these  communities offer great places to work, study, and raise families, and they continue to play important roles in shaping the region’s future.

 

But the spiritual need across these communities is urgent. A 2025 report from Arizona Christian University ranked New York at just 3.2% for adults holding a Biblical worldview, placing it lower than many other states. Many neighborhoods and towns have few churches that faithfully preach the gospel. The need is real, and God is calling workers to gather His people, witness for Christ, and bring Him glory in these communities that need to hear the good news of Jesus.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
